Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager with Security 101 you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned Florida & New York branches. Staffs and directs a sales team, providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for Account Executives.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develops a business plan and manages all aspects of the sales cycle and strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Executives.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing for clients, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Assists team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Ensures that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
  • Sets examples for sales team in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits.
  • Conducts regular coaching and counseling with sales team to build motivation and selling skills.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Comfortable being an active participant in highly technical discussions, and able to collaboratively work with Sales Engineer to ensure that commercial goals are achieved within territory.
  • Manages, develops and grows strategic prospects and existing customer relationships.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant field sales management experience in technology industry.
  • Experience selling to medium and large enterprises with track record of closing large complex sales.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • The ability and willingness to travel as required.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
  • Candidates are expected to be located in Greater Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area.

What do we look for in a Sales Pro?

The Security 101 sales professional is responsible for promoting and selling Security 101 services and technology within an assigned territory, leveraging relationships, and closing new business for our company while ensuring customer retention. An Account Executive is responsible for securing profitable sales and generating reoccurring revenue to new and existing and customers while maximizing customer satisfaction and retention by initiating post installation follow-ups. This rep will also have a commanding knowledge of our product line, as well as that of our services.

  • Create new market share by selling Security 101 products and services to new local commercial customers.
  • Sell managed services and generating reoccurring revenue.
  • Identify prospects utilizing creative lead-generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.
  • Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
  • Follow up with prospects.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services and customers' issues and needs through in-house training and reading/research.
  • Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence.
  • Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.
  • Conduct post installation follow-up by contacting customer, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service.
  • Adhere to current Security 101 policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
Education
  • College degree preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent required
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of outside sales, preferably from a technology field, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quota.
