Security 101 – National Accounts team is now recruiting for an embedded Senior Level Commercial Security Service Technician. Technician will be a Security 101 employee supplied with company tools, ladders, vehicle, and other equipment necessary for the assigned work. The duties will be dedicated to the enterprise client only and the place of reporting will be the client’s site. They will be supported by the Security 101 National Accounts division.
Salary:
Annual Salary range varies from $90,000 to $100,000 exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, PTO and more. We will also provide you with a cell phone, laptop.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing and programming enterprise commercial access control, IP-based video, and intrusion alarm systems, including working on the customer’s network.
- Pro-Watch Access Control System (ACS) and MaxPro video management (VMS) software application programming.
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism when required.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
- Alarm monitoring and Nuisance Alarm report assistance.
- New technology updates
- Proof of Concept (POC) Hardware and Testing support.
- Provide a weekly tracker/report of time allocated to tasks and status updates to client supervisor.
- Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.
- Current certification or proficiency in the following is a plus: Access Control platform: Honeywell Pro-Watch. Video platform: Honeywell MaxPro. Intercom-mass notification: Commend.
- Security 101 will invest in training and certifications for the right candidate.

Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked access control.
- Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems.
- Providing World Class customer service when dealing with customers.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
