CADD Operator
National Accounts
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the production of engineered design packages, maintenance of the engineering file server, maintenance of the CADD detail binder, and other duties and tasks as assigned by the Sales Engineer.
Salary:
Annual Salary ranges from $50K to $60K non-exempt, commensurate with AutoCAD skills, experience.

Skills/Abilities:
- 4+ years drafting with CAD or an AutoCAD certificate
- 4 years working with computers at the operating system level
- Thorough knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation computer applications
- Understanding of current network technology and computer hardware
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical manuals, plan drawings, and schematics
- Ability to function as an effective team member
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to finish projects
- Ability to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
- Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
- Physical Demands: Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work and stay within estimated engineering hours attributed to assigned projects.
- Create complete engineered design packages as directed by the Project Engineer. Engineered design packages include but are not limited to, door and camera detail drawings, schedules and risers, and wired access panel details.
- Maintain the engineering file server, including the drawing database, loading schedule database, and the tech tip database. Maintenance consists of insuring that the files are stored in logical order, current revisions are stored, and regular and frequent backups are made.
- Create and maintain the CAD detail binder as directed by the engineering manager. This duty includes insuring that the binder is complete, updated, and regular and frequent updates are distributed to detail binder holders.
- Aid in maintaining all drafting hardware, including computers, plotters, and copiers.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Associate degree
