Enterprise Business Development Executive

The new Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new customers and introducing them to Security 101’s products and service offerings.

Key Duties & responsibilities:
  • Identify and penetrate new customer prospects
  • Introduce and sell Security 101 capabilities to new customer prospects
  • Introduce new and existing customers to new technology
  • Work with Marketing Coordinator to identify target customer profiles and develop targeted marketing campaign
  • Demonstrate product and security capabilities to Security Consultants
Minimum qualifications:

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the growth of Security 101, the sales department size, and/or geographic location.

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 10 years progressively responsible business experience or equivalent background
  • Strong understanding of the security industry and customers
  • Demonstrated standing and participation in related local and regional business communities
  • Demonstrated capabilities and a successful record of sales activities in a related business
Skills/Abilities:
    • A professional business image, excellent communication skills and well-developed presentation abilities
    • Attainment of targeted long-term sales volume
    • Development of professional business as well as personal relationships with targeted customer decision-makers

Enterprise Sales Account Executive

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing prospective customers and for selling them Security 101’s products and services. Salespeople will work with the Global Sales Manager to develop strategies and tactics for account penetration and product solutions. The Salesperson is also responsible for the correct estimation and preliminary design of bids.

Key Duties & responsibilities:
  • Identifying, qualifying and developing target prospects
  • Develop accounts from initial contact through needs analysis, product demonstrations, proposals, bids and installation
  • Develop follow-on business from current customers
  • Make calls to all buyer levels within an organization to determine their needs and use
  • Determine customer buying/budget calendar cycles
  • Achieving specific unit and volume-based sales goals on a quarterly basis for products, maintenance agreements and services
  • Develop, track and report all furnished leads, and complete sales activity reports
  • Continuing education on both a personal and professional level, including maintaining current knowledge of products, systems and services being offered by competitors
  • Responsible for accurate, cost-effective and competitive estimates for specified scopes of work. Coordinate with Engineering and Operations as appropriate
  • Source and price custom equipment and materials from both internal sources and external vendors
  • Responsible for preliminary design and configuration of systems. Coordinate with Engineering as appropriate
  • Perform job walks to obtain adequate understanding of specific project installation conditions and considerations. Coordinate with Operations as appropriate
  • Attend industry and trade association meetings as company representative, and assist in the planning, setup and staffing of company-sponsored sales booths at trade conventions

Knowledge:
    • Three to five years of business-to-business executive level sales experience
    • Knowledge and expertise of enterprise CCTV, IP video, visitor management, video management and access control systems
    • Knowledge and expertise of computer hardware and peripherals including Windows and MS Office
    • Bachelor's Degree desirable
Skills/Abilities:
      • Attainment of sales volume and cultivation of territory potential
      • Achievement of sales goals including service contracts

Inside Sales Engineer

Responsibilities include managing the drafting department, quality control, assisting in pre-bid review, and other duties and tasks as assigned by the Global Sales Manager.

Key Duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for interpreting RFQ and RFP documents to provide accurate project requirements to the Salesperson
  • Responsible for accurate equipment take-offs, assessment of working conditions and other criteria necessary for an accurate estimate of the project costs
  • Able to prepare a complete, accurate and concise Statement of Work document
  • Assist Salespeople with Customer presentations
  • Prepare turn-over documentation for Sales-to-Operations
  • Responsible for clearly communicating with and soliciting information from salespeople and customers to provide appropriate technical solutions
  • Establishes and maintains drafting work schedules, coordinates work with Project Managers and Operations Manager
  • Engineering sales support and review of the functionality and design of systems being proposed by sales or consultants. Responsible for the adequacy of drafting hours included in project estimates. Ensures drafting hours posted to projects do not exceed estimated values
  • Prepares As-built documentation for the Customer, including drawings, training manuals and Operations and Maintenance Manuals
  • Maintains a good line of communications between Project Managers and staff
  • Responsible for the adequate and accurate time posting of all drafting to jobs
Minimum qualifications:

Knowledge:
  • 4+ years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
  • 4+ years working with computers at the systems level
  • Understanding of CAD and Drafting techniques
Skills/Abilities:
    • Ability to function as an effective team member
    • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
    • Ability to organize staff workload for effective implementation
    • Ability to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations
