Service Manager

National Accounts

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining and repairing items sold, leased, or rented with service contract or warranty, tracking service contracts, supervision and active dispatching of Customer Service Technicians on a daily basis, service billing, parts repair tracking, and completing department operations reports.

Salary:

Annual salary varies from $80,000 to $100,000, exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Associates degree (2 years) or Bachelor degree (4 years) in technical capacity is desirable
  • 4+ years of progressively increasing levels of responsibilities within a service or contracting environment
  • 4+ years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
  • 4+ years working with computers at the systems level
  • Understand of networks, telecommunications, PLC and relay logic. - Strong knowledge of project management, resources allocation and cost controls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Communication skills to include customer presentations and ability to write correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small groups
  • An understanding of financial reports and the ability to contain costs
  • Solve practical problems and carryout responsibilities under general supervision
  • Ability to organize departmental workload effectively
  • Strong customer relations and results oriented
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, climbing and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors

Responsibilities:

  • Will have had 4+ years of progressively increasing levels of responsibilities to presently running a team of at least 8 remotes and a couple of indirect reports.
  • Must have first-hand technical experience in the installation, programming, and servicing of enterprise-class access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and visitor management systems.
  • Certification on Honeywell Prowatch is preferred, proficient knowledge of Genetec, Software House, American Dynamics, Exacq, Openpath, Qognify, HID, Axis, Hanwha, Commend, and Lenel-S2 is desirable.
  • 4+ years working with computers at the systems level is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of financial reports and the ability to contain costs.
  • Ability to organize departmental workload in an effective manner.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • We prefer this role to be based in Lutz, FL. and can offer relocation assistance, but a remote role is acceptable for qualified applicants.

  • High School (or GED) minimum requirement
  • Associate degree
