Program Manager

Security 101 – National Accounts is now recruiting for a Program Manager that oversees scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of organizational programs for large clients. They may aid with proposal development, contract negotiation and contract compliance.
Proposal preparation may include assisting with plans, specifications and financial terms of the contract. They may assist with business development initiatives. Program managers ensure master plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to program challenges, and directing others for successful completion of project on time and on budget. Program Managers are the single point of contact for the customer.
Salary:
This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range between $95,000 and $125,000, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

Skills/Abilities:
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 10+ years in the commercial electronic security integration space.
- 4 years working with computers at the operating system level.
- Thorough knowledge of spread sheet, word processing, database, and presentation computer applications.
- Understanding of current network technology and computer hardware.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical manuals, plan drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Strong customer and results orientation.
Responsibilities:
Program managers routinely provide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve a corporate vision. They work as the head of a team and perform liaison activities with upper management and stakeholders.
- Responsibilities include governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement.
- Supervises plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems or service installed jobs.
- Supervise project managers. when applicable.
- Maintains list of current job plans and specifications.
- Works with engineering department on the design of projects.
- Assists project managers with the project installation plans.
- Determines, from review of various information, necessary changes in design, contract price, implementation plan or other activities and implements same.
- Selects and monitors the performance of subcontractors when applicable.
- Keeps client, superiors and subordinates informed of progress.
- May estimate or assist in estimating projects which the company is bidding
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
- CSPM, PMP training preferred.
