IT Support Specialist
Orlando
Security 101 – Orlando is now recruiting a commercial electronic security programmer with a high level of knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANS, routing, POE, and wireless. Experience in configuring, testing, and commissioning enterprise access control and video management systems.
Salary:
This is a full time position with an hourly wage range between $25.00-$35.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ years working with information technology systems and solutions.
- Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10 administration, Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (write basic SQL queries, backup and restore databases).
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Strong customer and results orientation.
Current certification in one or more of the following:
- Access Control: Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Prowatch, OpenPath.
- VMS: Milestone, Exacq, Genetec, Qognify.
Recommended:
- CCNA Routing and Switching, Net+, Security+, A+
- AC/DC Theory
- Digital video technology
- SIP telephony
- Linux
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and final testing new systems
- New and existing systems configurations and integrations
- Customer and employee product training
- Subject matter expert on data networks and computer systems
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
