Security 101 is now recruiting an Inside Sales Representative responsible for calling and qualifying inbound marketing leads, as well as making outbound calls to both new prospects and existing customers to generate sales qualified leads to be passed along to the outside sales team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.


Hourly wage varies from $20.00 to $30.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, industry or product knowledge and telemarketing experience.   • 2-4 years of proven experience in an inside sales or telemarketing role, preferably in electronic security, or related, industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (HubSpot experience preferred).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls (45-60 on average) per day


Inbound Lead Qualification:
  • Call and qualify inbound marketing leads assessing their needs and potential fit with our solutions & services.
  • Gather detailed information from leads and accurately document the interactions in the CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Nurture leads through the sales pipeline by providing relevant information and addressing inquiries.
Outbound Sales Calls:
  • Make outbound calls to potential new customers to introduce our solutions & services and identify sales opportunities.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with existing customers to maintain relationships, provide updates on new offerings, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for qualified leads with the appropriate sales representatives.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly to provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
Sales Reporting:
  • Track and report on sales activities, lead status, and pipeline progression.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly key performance indicator (KPI) targets. 


  • High School (or GED) minimum requirement
  • Undergraduate degree (preferred) or 2-year degree & relevant experience
