Security 101 – Richmond Metro is looking for a high-performing Senior Account Executive to drive new business and exceed sales targets. If you are a $1M+ producer with expertise in RMR-driven security sales (access control, video surveillance, managed services, cloud-hosted solutions, etc.) and have a strong track record in hunting new business and closing deals, we want to talk to you!
Salary:
Competitive compensation with on-target earnings of $130K, including base pay and uncapped commission. Skills/Abilities:
- Proven closer with 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with a focus on enterprise security solutions.
- Consistent history of $1M+ annual sales production with experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients (100+ employee organizations).
- Proven success selling multi-year contracts with RMR (e.g., managed access control, video surveillance-as-a-service).
- Strong prospecting and business development skills with C-level/VP-level network in the Richmond Metro healthcare, education, manufacturing, and other commercial sectors.
- Ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and highly motivated.
- Technical proficiency using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and search tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn).
Responsibilities:
- Adept at identifying client pain points, creating tailored security solutions, and building long-term strategic relationships.
- Conducts thorough site assessments to scope system installations and service opportunities, prepares proposals/RFPs, and negotiates contracts to close business.
- Works closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure seamless implementation and post-sale support.
- Develops and executes strategic plans to grow assigned territory or named accounts, including new business acquisition and account retention.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence key decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
- Drives recurring revenue through upsells, service contracts, and renewals, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement.
- 4-year degree preferred
