Security 101 – San Francisco is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall security systems.

Salary:

We offer a 4 – Day/10 Hour work week, hourly wage varies from $35.00 to $45.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years electrical and electronic security equipment installation and repair experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with the installation, servicing, and programming of one or more of the following access control systems: Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Openpath and Avigilon is preferred.
  • Must have experience in PTZ and IP camera installation, programming and addressing.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
  • Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities:

Candidate must be able to successfully demonstrate installation and servicing skills. Programming, configuring, testing, and commissioning of systems and performing service maintenance on the following:

  • Access control systems, including Corporate and Enterprise level.
  • Video management systems.
  • Cloud IP video and access control.
  • Visitor management systems.
  • Security communication systems.
  • Optical turnstiles.
  • NVR's and DVR's.

Education:

  • High School (or GED) minimum requirement
  • Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
