Junior Account Executive

Minneapolis

Security 101 – Minneapolis is now recruiting a Junior Account Executive that can identify, qualify, and develop new customer opportunities while working with the Senior Account Executive to execute tactics and strategies for better lead generation.

Salary:

Salary ranges from 40k – 50k exempt, commensurate with skills, security industry knowledge and product experience. You also benefit from a generous commission plan with no earnings cap.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of outside sales or technical sales experience.
  • B2B electronic security industry knowledge preferred.
  • Consultative sales experience preferred as well.
  • Performance minded salesperson, self-confident & dynamic, who exhibits a competitive spirit.
  • Good time management skills to handle all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Enthusiastic about being able to earn 6 figures with no commission caps.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and building relationships with new clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities.
  • Maintaining relationships and providing after-sales support for existing clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities.
  • Work with the Senior Account Executive to develop accounts from initial contact through needs analysis, product demonstrations, proposals, bids and installation.
  • Attend networking events as the company representative, and assist in the planning, setup and staffing of company-sponsored events.

Education:

  • High School (or GED) minimum requirement
  • 4-year degree preferred
