The LobbyWorks™ Visitor Management
System enhances your investment in access
control and perimeter security by providing
a simple and effective way to register, badge,
track and manage your facility’s visitor
traffic. Visitor registration is quick and
simple, and can be performed either at a
guard station or using an optional selfregistration
kiosk. LobbyWorks’ power and flexibility
make it a natural fit for both simple, standalone
deployments using the Professional Edition
or multi-site deployments using the Standard
Edition.
LobbyWorks™ scans a photo ID, business card
or passport ID of arriving visitor, then
instantaneously checks whether the visitor
is expected, has been in the facility before
and makes sure the visitor is not on a watch
list. These quick and consistent checks ensure
that only the right people are allowed on
site. After scanning the information, LobbyWorks™ takes a digital photo or captures the visitor's
signature.
LobbyWorks™ can automatically
contact the visitor’s host by phone,
email or with real time network messaging
to announce the
visit. Once the visitor is registered, an
individualized badge is generated. Specific
visit restrictions may be set, such as: clearance
level, access area or visit expiry time.
At the end of the visit, LobbyWorks™ signs
out the visitor. In case the visitor does
not sign out, LobbyWorks™ can contact the
host to check if the visitor has left the
site.
This simple yet powerful visitor registration
process forms the basis for a very powerful
security platform. Registering all visitors
through LobbyWorks™ ensures that you have
a centralized and complete record of your
visitor traffic, strengthens visitor security
and improves productivity and service to
your customers.

In a matter
of a few seconds:
- Scan
a business card or drivers license to
gather information
about the visitor.
For pre-registered and returning visitors,
badges may already be waiting for the
visitor upon arrival and simply need
to be scanned
for check in. If required, LobbyWorks™ can
display visitation rules or a short
safety video.
- Take a photo of the visitor and match
it with the visitor information.
- Discretely
perform security checks to ensure the
visitor is expected,
not on a visitor watch list, and
have the visit authorized in real-time.
During
registration, LobbyWorks™ also consistently
checks the visitor information against
your
list of barred visitors. The use of such
a list is crucial in securing your
site. LobbyWorks
checks for potential matches based
on names and aliases, driver’s license
numbers,
pictures and more. In addition, LobbyWorks™ checks the visitor’s
information against
expected visitors and those who have
been on site before to reuse their
information and process them more
quickly as returning
visitors.
- Print
an individual professional badge with
the visitor’s
name and photo, expiration time, host
name, valid
access areas and any other required
information. Visitor badges can be
printed on B/W thermal direct label
printers, inkjet or laser color printers
or
dye-sublimation printers. Visitor badges
can have features such as time-expiring
stamps or tamper-resistant inks.
- While on site,
LobbyWorks proactively tracks if the
visitor signs
out as expected. For expired visits,
LobbyWorks™ can contact the host to
check if the visitor is still on site.
This
ensures that visitors are monitored at
all times and that hosts enforce your
sign out policy.
It’s that SIMPLE!
