John C. Gibson
Mr. Gibson has quickly become an industry leader with an extensive background in management, sales & marketing having joined the security industry in 2004. Prior to entering the industry Mr. Gibson played an intricate roll in managing and developing Loop Plumping, a service based plumbing company for 10 year where he held the position of Vice President. John began his security career with ADT holding several management positions. In 2006 John and business partner Ryan Wise launched Security 101 in Mobile, AL & New Orleans, LA. In addition John is a graduate of Auburn University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. |
Ryan Wise
Mr. Wise has an extensive background within the security industry which started in 1996. Ryan started his career with ADT as an installer. He worked his way up to Management where he was responsible for the maintenance profits and loss along with 260 technicians for Georgia & South Carolina. In 2006 Ryan joined forces with business partner John Gibson launching Security 101 in Mobile, AL & New Orleans, LA. In addition to being a veteran of our industry Mr. Wise is also a decorated war veteran having served in the United States Army, Sergeant Infantry where he did two tours of combat in Haiti (1993) and Bosnia (1994). Mr. Wise proudly served his country from 1990 – 1996. |
Tim Whalen
Mr. Whalen has over 17 years experience installing, servicing and supervising security projects. Tim began his career with Hunter Security, (Daphne, AL) as an installer. He entered into management after taking a position with Safe America, (Daphne, Al). Tim accepted a position with Security 101 in early 2006 in a Project Manager capacity and has recently become an Operations Manager for the Mobile office. He is factory trained & certified in AMAG, Honeywell-ProWatch, WinPAk, Ademco, GE-CASI, DMP Omnicast & Synergis.

Randal Compton
Mr. Compton has an extensive background in the industry having started his career back in 1984. Prior joining Security 101 in early 2009 Randal worked for Multiple other companies in both Virginia and Alabama where he honed the skills he has making him a very important part of the Security 101 team. He is factory trained and certified in Honeywell, Fire-lite, Software House-C Cure 800 and Lenel. In addition he also holds an Alabama Electronic Board License.

Alton Wallace
Mr. Wallace joined the Security 101 team in 2008. Alton quickly learned the industry and moved into the position of Lead Installer. Alton is responsibilities include, managing equipment, install personnel, project timelines, jobsite safety and client satisfaction. Prior to arriving at Security 101 Alton was a Network & Communications technician for 13 years.
