In 2003, Chris Wise and Chris Parris approached the owners of Security One Systems about being a licensed
user of their name in Atlanta. After several meetings and agreement was reached for PWI, Inc. to operate as
Security One Systems, Inc. in Atlanta. The success of the operation was immediate. They were able to use the
marketing, management, and financial systems developed by Security One Systems to quickly grow their
business in Atlanta.
In 2005, Security One Systems, Inc. was sold to Ingersoll-Rand. After several months, IR decided to terminate
the above agreement. PWI, Inc. immediately re-branded itself as Security 101. Using the systems they learned
for Security One Systems they continued to develop and enhance those systems as well as rapidly growing their
business. In fact, in June 2007 the Cobb Chamber of Commerce recognized Security 101 as one of its top 25
companies of the year.

Being aware of the success of PWI under the licensing model, Rich
Montavo approached PWI about operating a new operation in Florida
under the Security 101 name. Once again, the experience of being
associated with a larger entity allowed AVI to rapidly grow their
business.
In 2007, the owners of PWI decided to formalize their system of licensing by developing a new franchise
program. They formed Security Franchisors, LLC which provides Franchise Opportunities under the Security
101 brand. In April of 2008 Steve Crespo joined Security Franchisors, LLC and was appointed the President of
Franchise Operations. In May of 2008 Jim Pasquarello joined the team as the Chief Operating Officer of
Franchise Operations. Both Steve and Jim bring years of experience in developing and growing a Security
Systems Integration business.
Currently, Security 101 has Franchises in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina,
and New Jersey. Our goal is to have 101 Franchises in five (5) years.
