In
addition to locking and unlocking a door,
access control systems offer many
other features not possible with a key.
An Access Control System prevents unauthorized
entries through doors and monitors designated
alarm points.
All activity
is monitored and recorded around a facility
24 hours a day. Access Changes to doors
and alarm points can be made instantly
using a PC connected to the Access Control
Network. Reports can be generated to
show activity and alarms can be triggered
based on events.
These alarms
can be translated to CCTV Camera Call-Ups
to particular locations, pager messages
or video clips written to a storage device.
Because
of a strong networking and software background,
Access Control is a natural fit. In
the short time since Access Control Systems
have evolved from stand-alone DOS and
UNIX based systems to Client Server Enterprise
Network applications.
Security
101's employees are factory certified
to install and maintain the systems we
represent. The systems installed by Security
101 include Honeywell, (NexWatch and
Northern Computers), and Lenel. Among
the standard features for these Access
Control Systems is badge
imaging, floor plans, remote dial-up
and CCTV control.
Hundreds
of tasks can be performed simultaneously
to allow maximum effectiveness and flexibility. Security
101 is a systems integrator and
has been factory trained and certified
to design, install and maintain these
systems. Enterprise Access Control
Systems can be controlled and monitored
from a centralized security office, with
satellite offices throughout the world.
Each site is connected to the Access
Control Server using TCP/IP over a 100baseT
Network.
All activity
is received and recorded on a server
located at the Central Security Console.
As events and alarms are received they
are prioritized and switched to the outputs
of a Matrix switcher and displayed with
alarm information on alarm Call-Up monitors.
Enterprise
Systems can have real time control and
can be monitored and responded to by
remote Security Guard forces on a real-
time basis. Digital Recorders are used
to record cameras during alarms with
a 30-second buffer and during pixel changes
or motion detection in specified areas.
Doors can be opened, locked and alarms can be silenced anywhere
on the system on demand from the security office. This
gives the corporate headquarters a
live account of what is going on at
all locations all of the time. Security
101 has installed and maintains many
other Access Control systems and looks
forward to building a relationship
with your company and helping with
your Access Control and CCTV needs. |
